Friends Like Family

 We have been busy doing nothing this summer.  We have mastered the art of making last minute plans with friends and it has felt great to not have a million obligations on our calendar.  The one date that HAS been marked in bold was the scheduled arrival of Baby Bryan # 2. Everyone was excited to learn the gender and name of this precious little baby.  Well, Copeland "Co" has lived up to the hype.  He is perfect. (And don't I look good holding a blonde baby, ha!)

 Look how ridiculously cute my Goddaughter is with her little baby brother! She was so excited, she didn't know which camera to look at!

 We were selfish and wanted to give as much attention to Co as possible, so we asked some friends if we could drop Nora off to play with their daughter Lilly while we went to the hospital.  They said "Of course!" so we dropped her off for a playroom picnic lunch.  These girls have played well together from the beginning so they just caught up over a tub of hummus.

They are like Yin and Yang, but true buddies.  

This weekend was a good reminder of what life is all about. We were able to call on a longtime friend so that we could go celebrate with another. Good friends become your family. Loving and serving one another is what it's all about.
