Man-O-War....Abaco, Bahamas

We spent 4 great days chilling with Courtney and Harper in the Abacos. Most of our time involved island hopping with a cold Kalik in hand. We snorkled in the reef, feeding all the tropical fish spray cheese out of a can...went deep sea fishing, ate 5+ meals a day, and mostly just settled into Puro Relaxo!

The house was perfect, with views of the ocean from both sides. Our room was on the second floor with a bathroom the size of a children's wooden playhouse. But that didnt matter, if its yellow the locals let it mellow. You figure out the rest.

Man-O-War only has only 250 people that live on the island. Lola is a local who spends all morning baking fresh bread and unbelievable cinnamon rolls as big as a wheelbarrow tire. They were so delicious. Each morning we would hop in the golfcart and cirlce the island until we found Lola. MW ate so many cinnamon rolls. She was out of control. Oh wait, that was me. Nevermind.

Way down upon the Suwannee River...with the Isaacs

Shrimmmffffffp.....The theme of Suwannee River 2008 was a salivating combination of Johnny Jerry's, The Mother, garlic, and a good ole Vodka Tonic.

A typical day at the Issac Retreat went like this....Wake Up, go for a long walk around town, cook a massive breakfast topped off with The Mother, change into your fishing gear, snack on Johnny Jerry's homemade BBQ, load the boat, sip a cold beer, fish off the oyster beds in the Gulf of Mexico, catch a least 5 catfish each (while sipping a not quite as cold beer), fish until we catch some dinner, head back to the Riverhouse, finish your uncold beer, unload the boat, bust out the Johny Jerry's again, throw down some Rumikub, celebrate the catch with a couple VT's, take a snooze (moose knuckles included), play a rowdy game of quarters, cook a sweet dinner combination of the the fresh catch plus Johnny Jerry's, pass out!

Do that for 3 days straight and you've never had such a sodium packed, awesome vacation to the Suwanne Riverhouse. Meghan and I had a blast with Fred, Marnelle, Cami, and Wes. We caught catfish, ladyfish, redfish, catfish, spotted trout, flounder, acouple of rays for Meghan, more catfish, and even some oysters. The only thing great about catching cats was watching Mr. Issac get barbed then rub Essence of AssHole (a true scientific term) on it to ease the burn. That was awesome.
