Jaguars beat the Chargers

This past Sunday, the Jaguars took on the San Diego Chargers and we were there to cheer them on. This week we were sitting next to 2 of Jacksonville's most exuberant, die hard fans. They were glued to this game, on the edge of their seats! Can you blame them? GO JAGUARS!

King of the Maple Syrup Castle

When we have children one day, Chris and I are determined not to spoil them. So that's why we have Ruckus. He is our 8 month old Brittany Spaniel whose coat always smells of fresh rosemary and his breath of warm maple syrup. (We know he smells like rosemary from hunting lizards in the rosemary bushes in the garden...but we haven't pinpointed where that syrup scent comes from.) Ruckus is spoiled rotten and that's just fine with us. He has graduated from the crate to the bed and I'm pretty sure he's here to stay.

Geared up to meet Jaguar player, Mike Peterson

On Nov. 12th, we went to The Jaguars show with Brandon and Stephanie and got some autographs. Mike Peterson said this was actually the first time he signed a helmet while someone was wearing it. That was surprising to us.

Over-Inflated Balls make it to Final Four!

Living by the quote“It doesn't work if the bad guys kill his mother's uncle's friend's neighbor's pet dog. You've got to make the stakes high.”from our financial backer and Team mascot Steven Seagal, Over Inflated Balls stormed into the Final Four of the Atlatic Division Finals. With a win in the semi's over the league favorite in a near monsoon the team in the burnt orange shirts....armed with nothing more than a bunch of local neighborhood misfits almost stole the show. No one in league history had seen a team come from
the depths of destruction to battle for the crown of all crowns (we can't remember but we think first place won a free pitcher). Anyway, Over Inflated Balls embarrassed its opponets. In the final game of our exhausting season, Our Skipper Meghan Weaver, used her speed and skillset to slide into first, slide into second, slide into third, and yes slide into home to score a run in the bottom of the 5th to bring the Team within in 2 runs of a victory. Although we fell short of a victory we still won a slinky....which someone unfortunatley left at the bar. Our Balls......Still Over Inflated!

"B" Date

Chris and I have started "ABC Dating". Chris planned the "B" date and surprised me with a night of Burgers and Blue Moon Beer, then we put on Beards to go Bowling. The bowling alley was a little busy so we decided to get snow cones and knock on some doors...Grayson, Scot & Katie.
